Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to your data when you visit worldofvarnur.com and varnur.com.br. The short version: the site uses no cookies, no ads and no tools that follow you from page to page.

What we collect, and why
We only collect data when you fill in the updates signup. It asks for:
- your email address;
- the topics you chose to follow (Children's Books, Saga and Tales, RPG).
We use this data only to send you Varnur news on the topics you chose. The legal basis is your consent (Brazil's General Data Protection Law, LGPD, art. 7, I), given when you tick the consent box. You can withdraw it at any time through the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to the address above.
Who else handles this data
- Kit (kit.com), the service that stores the list and sends the emails. It is based in the United States, so your email address is transferred outside Brazil, based on your consent and the service's contractual safeguards.
- Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the site. Like any server, it receives technical data from each visit, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and block attacks. We only see aggregate visit numbers, without identifying anyone.
We do not sell or lend your data to anyone.
What stays on your device
If you choose a language, the site saves that choice in your own browser so it remembers next time. This information is not sent to us, and you can delete it by clearing the site's data in your browser.
The children's area
The gamebook in the children's area runs entirely in the browser. It asks for no data and has no ads and no trackers. The updates signup is for people aged 18 or older. If we learn that we have received a child's email address, it will be deleted.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address while you are subscribed. When you unsubscribe or ask for deletion, it is removed from the list. The email service may keep a minimal unsubscribe record, only so that it does not write to you again.
Your rights
Under the LGPD (art. 18), you may ask at any time for: confirmation that we process your data, access to it, correction, deletion, portability, information about who it is shared with, and withdrawal of consent. Just write to contato@worldofvarnur.com. You may also file a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with the date at the top.
